(54.9 m) with a 30 ft. (9.1 m) drill pipe change. The DM50 is designed for both rotary and down-the-hole drilling. Feed pressure generates a bit load force of up to 50,000 lb. (22,680 kg). The standard low pressure DM50 utilizes a diesel engine to drive the air compressor and hydraulic system. Operation of the drill is performed using electric over hydraulic controllers ergonomically located so that the operator faces the drill centralizer while drilling.
